Simply stunning foliage, the leaves of the Alocasia amazonica Bambino Arrow are narrow with bright veins. It has a very similar appearance to Alocasia amazonica Polly, but is smaller and is also known as Jewel Alocasia and is a native of South East Asia.

This is a compact Alocasia ideal for table tops and shelves. The leaf blades are typically 15-18cm long and about 5cm wide with a dark purple underside.

Thrives in bright, well-lit conditions, however direct sunlight should be avoided as it will scorch the leaves. Alocasia do not benefit from shade, and will begin to suffer if light is too low.

The Alocasia's soil should be kept lightly moist. Do not allow the soil to dry-out but be wary not to overwater. Little and often is a good approach.

Alocasia are a fast growing plants if conditions are right and their needs are met. The Bambino Arrow will typically reach heights of up to 40cm.

Alocasia are harmful if eaten and are a skin and eye irritant. Keep out of reach of children and animals
