Hoya Engleriana - (wax flower)
Hoya engleriana is a very small leafed Hoya from Thailand that has expanded its range to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. It is found in mountainous ranges.
It produces small clusters of flowers with a waxy purple-pink center. The flowers do not produce a scent. There are never more than four flowers in an umbel at the end of a very short peduncle.
Most Hoyas (such as the Engleriana) prefer bright light, moderate to high humidity, and warm temperatures. This Hoya hold much water in the small leaves, ensuring the soil is completely dry between watering is important for good growth and a healthy root system. Fertilize during the active growing season spring - summer.
