Hoya Pubicalyx is endemic to the Philippines. The name Pubicalyx is made up of two parts, Pubi being Latin for Pubic, and calyx "the sepals of a flower, typically forming a whorl that encloses the petals and forms a protective layer around a flower in bud. "
It is a vining type of succulent vine that is perfect for Hoya beginners with its ease of care, beautiful waxy leaves, and show stopping star-shaped flowers which produce a delicate sweet scent, most noticeable at night.
